Fishing Vessel used as “Laboratory”, seized off Subic, Four (4) Foreign Nationals Arrested

A fishing vessel used alternatively as laboratory for manufacturing methamphetamine hydrochloride, known locally as shabu, was seized in the waters off Subic, Zambales monday night and four suspected foreign nationals arrested.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency director for Central Luzon Dir. Emerson Margate said the operation that led to the seizure of the vessel was carried out after concerned residents of a particular barangay in Zambales, reported the vessel’s presence to the authorities.

It is known widely in the Philippines and the international community that President Rodrigo Duterte has been strict and wanted drug related crimes, syndicates to be eradicated as he gave the Filipino people assurance that he’d wipe them out within three to six months.
